Character changes

Students were asked to alter the main characters from their fairy tales and make them less idealistic and more real, something they could relate to more. We discussed the simulates in the fairytales and how they were sometimes less diverse. They tried to consider by changing the character how this could change the story and above are some of the results.

This week students will be visiting Rye Hill Park. They will be looking at how nature is used in fairytales and how it can set the scene. They will have tasks that they have to do individually in their groups and an observational drawing of an area in the park.
